About the role
As a Functional Safety Specialist, you will focus on the design and implementation of safety-critical embedded systems and PLC architectures. You will work within a specialized team to ensure all software solutions meet rigorous safety standards.

Work tasks
This position involves the technical development and safety validation of software systems, bridging the gap between embedded programming and functional safety compliance. Ideally we are looking for someone who has strong knowledge in C++ and embedded software development and some understanding on functional safety.
- Develop and maintain embedded software solutions using C++
- Program and integrate PLC systems for industrial applications
- Conduct safety analysis and risk assessments for embedded software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define safety requirements
- Perform verification and validation of safety-critical systems
- Create and maintain technical documentation for functional safety compliance
- Participate in code reviews and system architecture design sessions
We are looking for
- Relevant engineering degree (BSc or MSc)
- Advanced knowledge of C++
- Good knowledge of Embedded Software Development
- Basic knowledge of PLC-programming
- Professional proficiency in English

- Fluent skills in Finnish
