Kuvaus
Japan Airlines is one of the world-renowned international airlines established in Japan in 1951. We have been operating direct flights between Helsinki and Tokyo since 2013. We are looking for a hardworking, adaptable, communicative member to join our team to ensure the team's consistent delivery of high-standard safety, smooth and timely flight operation at Helsinki Airport. We expect you to start working with us around the beginning of October, 2026.
Core tasks of this job:
In the position of Passenger traffic coordinator, you will take care of various tasks, especially related to passenger handling, such as:
- Passenger handling preparation by coordinating information with stakeholders and managing entrusted companies.
- Supervision of the work quality of stakeholders in passenger service, catering service, and baggage service.
- Dealing with customer claims/inquiries at the front end.
- Reporting safety incidents and service irregularities, analyzing deviations, and creating preventive measures or improving customer experience and related processes.
- Accounting work related to passenger service, such as expense approval process, invoice verification, and estimating revenue and expenses of your own field of responsibility with your team.
What we expect from you:
Below is the list of what we expect from applicants:
- At least 18 years old and eligibility to work in Finland.
- At least a high school level education and 2-3 years of professional experience in similar tasks.
- A clean background (standard security clearance is needed for working in the restricted area of the airport)
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Readiness to work in weekends and on national holidays.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of DCS (Departure Control System).
- Basic knowledge of ticket reservation systems.
- Proficiency in using various mobile devices and applications, as well as customer service and baggage handling devices within the airport facilities.
- Flexibility to expand your role, cross-train, and take on additional operational duties in the future as business needs evolve.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills, with the ability to handle multiple simultaneous issues, coordinate stakeholders, and provide clear instructions to others.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships within the team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the skills to portray a friendly and helpful impression in a very short time span, and skills to handle demanding customer service situations under pressure.
- Physical stamina to handle many hours of standing, long-distance walking, prolonged PC use, and extended shifts in the event of flight irregularities.
