In this role, you will work at the intersection of engineering, suppliers, and production, contributing directly to the success of technically advanced solutions. If you enjoy combining technical understanding with commercial thinking in a collaborative environment, this role is for you. Interested? Keep reading!
Your tasks will include leading sourcing for key categories such as cryogenic wiring, RF/microwave cabling, connectors, and PCBA, ensuring reliable and scalable supply. You will partner closely with R&D to bring supply chain expertise into early product development and drive sourcing from prototypes through production ramp-up.
You will also focus on building a strong supplier base, improving cost and total cost of ownership, and ensuring supplier performance across quality, cost, and delivery. In this role, you will proactively manage supply risks and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions.
We are looking for a structured and proactive professional with a background in engineering or another relevant technical field, combined with at least a few years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management. You are comfortable working with technically complex products and suppliers and have a solid understanding of electronics, cable assemblies, or high-tech manufacturing environments. You bring a strong commercial mindset, good negotiation skills, and a data-driven approach to your work. You are able to prioritize effectively, take ownership of your responsibilities, and collaborate smoothly across functions. An excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for this role.
We also appreciate experience with cryogenics, RF systems, or quantum-related technologies, as well as knowledge of supplier development or quality processes. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other cost optimization methodologies will be seen as a strong advantage. Additionally, a mindset focused on continuous improvement, curiosity to learn new technologies, and the ability to adapt in a fast-evolving environment will help you stand out. Alignment with our values and a collaborative, solution-oriented attitude are highly valued.
We offer you an interesting, challenging, and responsible position as well as the support of a highly skilled growth organization. This is an excellent opportunity for your own professional development in a dynamic, enthusiastic, and professional team where collaboration and mutual support are key.
