Chef/Cook

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Indian & Nepalese Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing authentic Indian and Nepalese dishes, including a variety of curries, tandoori items, and freshly baked naan bread.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic Indian and Nepalese dishes.

• Make a variety of curries, sauces, and traditional recipes.

• Operate the tandoor oven to prepare naan, roti, kebabs, and tandoori dishes.

• Ensure food is prepared with high quality, consistency, and presentation.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.

• Monitor food stock and assist with ordering ingredients.

• Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service hours.

• Follow recipes and maintain consistent taste and quality.

Requirements:

• Experience as an Indian and Nepalese Cook.

• Good knowledge of Indian and Nepalese spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.

• Experience operating a tandoor oven and preparing naan and other breads.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

• Team player with a positive attitude and good time management skills.
