Uyghur cook

Taste of Uyghur is Finland's first authentic Uyghur restaurant. We specialise in traditional Uyghur cuisine and authentic Chinese stir-fried dishes. Our restaurant has built a strong reputation for its authentic Uyghur cuisine and unique dining experience. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Uyghur Cook to join our kitchen team.

Main Responsibilities:

\* Prepare and cook authentic Chinese and Uyghur dishes according to our recipes and quality standards.

\* Prepare a variety of stir-fried dishes using a wok.

\* Prepare ingredients and ensure efficient food preparation during service.

\* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.

\* Follow Finnish food safety and hygiene regulations.

\* Keep the kitchen clean and organized.

\* Work efficiently as part of a team in a busy restaurant environment.

\* Assist with stock rotation and other daily kitchen duties.

✅Requirements

\* Previous experience as a cook, preferably in Chinese and Uyghur cuisine.

\* Experience with wok cooking and the ability to prepare Chinese and Uyghur stir-fried dishes independently.

\* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

\* Good teamwork and communication skills.

\* Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling.

\* Chinese (Mandarin) or Uyghur language skills are considered an advantage.
