About the role
As a Compliance Trainee, you will work under the guidance of a Compliance Specialist to analyze the material composition of electronic products. Your mission is to identify the weight and origin of specific metals to ensure compliance with international tariff regulations. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as you will handle specific technical data regarding electronic components and their weights.

Work tasks
- Reviewing and verifying material data of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components
- Calculating and analyzing specific metal weight percentages (aluminum, steel, copper) within the products
- Proactively gathering and validating component information from the supply chain
- Collaborate with the Compliance Specialist to prepare documentation for customs authorities
- Documenting findings and compiling compliance data for systems and customs purposes
We are looking for
- Ongoing studies in electrical engineering, power engineering, or a related technical field
- A basic understanding of electronic components
- Proficient Excel skills and comfort working with numerical data
- A meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented approach to tasks
- Fluent professional English (written and spoken)
It is meritorious if you have
- Understanding of component materials is a strong plus
- Proficient in Finnish
