Business Analyst - Foreign Banking

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst Consultant for our client, with strong expertise in Foreign Payments, for a short-term consulting assignment supporting the development of modern payment solutions.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, implementation-ready requirements while contributing to the development and improvement of payment processes.

Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders. Support testing, release activities, and solution validation. Ensure traceability from business requirements to delivered solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to improve payment processes and data quality. Contribute to AI-assisted requirement analysis and documentation where relevant.

✅Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking sector. Strong experience with Foreign Payments. Hands-on knowledge of one or more of SWIFT, SEPA, TARGET2, or IBAS. Good understanding of payment processing, clearing, settlement, and core banking systems. Experience working in Agile environments. Familiarity with APIs and data integrations. Strong analytical and communication skills. Professional proficiency in English. Finnish is an advantage.
