Join us in our mission to make care smarter!
At BeeHealthy, we're on a mission to make care smarter through our configurable, white-label SaaS platform. We combine over 115 years of healthcare expertise with modern technology to serve social, healthcare, and veterinary care providers and insurance organizations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
We're growing fast and looking for people who want to do meaningful work. If you care about impact, quality, and building products that genuinely improve how care is delivered, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
You'll join a small platform team of 3, supporting around 50 engineers across 7 product teams. Your job is to build and own the platform they depend on to ship and operate software in production.
This is not a maintenance role. The platform works, but it needs to mature significantly as we grow, and you'll have a real hand in shaping what that looks like. That means real ownership: over architecture decisions, tooling choices, and how the platform evolves over time.
We operate in a regulated healthcare environment, serve customers across more than 10 countries, and manage close to hundreds of Kubernetes environments. The challenge is enabling fast, confident delivery across multiple teams while navigating the constraints that come with healthcare software.
What you will do Automate provisioning of new customer environments, making provisioning faster, more reliable, and less manual.
Own the deployment and configuration layer across close to hundreds of environments, built on Kubernetes.
Improve CI/CD pipelines and reduce lead time from commit to production.
Create internal tooling and abstractions that let product teams ship faster with confidence.
Work closely with 7 product engineering teams, understanding their pain points and helping them ship better.
Must-have skills You have hands-on Kubernetes experience in production. You've debugged real issues, not just deployed it.
You have a strong background building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
You have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure).
You have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (we use Terraform).
You have experience building or operating multi-tenant SaaS products.
You have a software engineering background. You've built production software, not just operated it.
You're a strong communicator in English. The platform team exists to serve other engineers, and that takes as much people skill as technical skill.
Bonus points Experience building internal platforms or developer tooling.
Familiarity with GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Flux). This is where we're headed.
Background in regulated environments (healthcare, finance, or similar).
Strong security fundamentals: IAM, secrets management, and auditability.
Node.js and/or TypeScript: our backend services are written in both, so familiarity helps when building internal tooling.
The stack and setup Cloud: AWS and Azure primarily, with some GCP.
Orchestration: Kubernetes in production.
CI/CD: GitLab CI
IaC: Terraform
Backend services: Node.js / TypeScript
Platform team: 3 engineers, working with 7 product engineering teams (around 50 engineers total).
How we work Your customers are the product teams you enable. You have real ownership over how the platform is built and where it goes, not just execution of someone else's decisions.
On-call: Not in use.
Incidents: Blameless postmortems, no finger pointing.
Deploy frequency: Weekly, with some teams shipping more often.
Regulated environment means we vet what we use, but within that we're pragmatic: we care about outcomes, not adopting tools just because they're trendy.
We actively use Cursor and Claude Code and expect to lean into this further. If you have opinions on this, we want to hear them.
