We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (PIM) for our client in the media sector.
The consultant will work closely with ERP program streams, the PIM Team Lead, developers, and business stakeholders, focusing on Inriver PIM solutions. We are looking for a solution-oriented team player with strong experience in software architecture, data management, and hands-on engineering. Experience with other PIM solutions (Stibo, Pimcore, Akeneo, Contentserv, Informatica, Riversand) and SAP is considered a plus.
You will play a key role in managing product data flows from upstream systems like SAP through Inriver to e-commerce, marketplaces, print, and logistics channels, while also leading data migration activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and own the functional architecture of the Inriver solution
- Develop scalable multi-market and multi-language PIM models
- Define integrations using Inriver Integration Framework, REST APIs, and connectors
- Lead end-to-end product data migrations, including mapping, validation, and cutover planning
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Python, pandas, and Jupyter Notebooks
- Implement data transformations, validation rules, and reconciliation reporting
- Work with CSV, Excel, and JSON data formats
- Support bulk operations and validations through the Inriver REST API
- Maintain documentation and version control with Git
- Monitor and validate data consistency between SAP and Inriver
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with Inriver PIM or another enterprise PIM platform
- Knowledge of integrations, REST APIs, extensions, and scheduled jobs
- Proven experience with end-to-end data migrations
- Strong Python, pandas, and SQL skills
- Experience handling CSV, Excel, and JSON data
- Familiarity with Git and data pipeline development
- Experience working in international and distributed teams
