_Chronic diseases cause around 75% of deaths globally and place a growing burden on healthcare systems. The way to address this is preventive healthcare, but until recently the tools to detect disease risks at population scale have not existed. Nightingale Health has built them. The Nightingale Health Check is a blood-based risk detection test that identifies risks for multiple chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, kidney disease, and fatty liver disease, from a single blood sample. It is designed to be applied population-wide, so healthcare systems can identify the people who would benefit most from preventive action before disease develops._

_Nightingale Health's technology is validated in over 900 peer-reviewed scientific publications and is used in many of the world's leading health studies, including the UK Biobank. At Nightingale Health, you will join an agile and commercially focused Helsinki-based Legal Team of two lawyers, and report to the General Counsel. You will be based in Nightingale Health's bright and modern office located in Tilkka, Helsinki. The team works flexibly, but frequent office presence is highly appreciated.

In your day-to-day work, you will work with a wide range of legal topics covering the entire geographical footprint of Nightingale Health. For example, you will provide legal advice in various fields of law, such as intellectual property, data protection, healthcare and medical device laws and regulations, as well as draft and negotiate different types of agreements, such as sales, R&D and service agreements. You will also manage intellectual property rights and develop and oversee internal legal policies and educate your colleagues on legal topics. In addition, you will manage corporate governance and legal matters relating to the listed parent company, as well as legal matters for the group's nine subsidiaries.

You could be the candidate we are looking for, if:

• you have an LL.M degree from Finland or another EU country and a couple of years of post-graduate experience from business law e.g. from a law firm or an in-house legal position – previous exposure to health care sector is an asset but not a requirement;

• you have a growth mindset and enjoy constant learning – at Nightingale Health, things move fast and every team member is expected to grow along with the company;

• you identify yourself as a generalist rather than a specialist – agile allocation of tasks is crucial in a small legal team;

• you are eager to take an active role not only when it comes to legal topics, but to learn and consider commercial aspects, as well; and

• you are pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and communicate fluently in both Finnish and English.
