We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager with a passion for service excellence to support our strategic client, a global tech company located in Oulu. We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in facilities management, client relationship building, and operational excellence. In this role, you will play a central role in creating a safe, efficient and welcoming workplace where people can do their best work. You will lead the day-to-day delivery of facility services across the site, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance and performance, while shaping a consistently positive employee and customer experience. Working closely with stakeholders, service partners and internal teams, you will help create an environment that is both operationally strong and aligned to business needs. Acting as a trusted local partner, you will build strong relationships with business leaders, colleagues, landlords, suppliers and support teams. You will be at the centre of connecting people, services and priorities, ensuring the workplace runs smoothly and responds effectively to both day-to-day needs and longer-term plans. Manage the on-site contract and all services to the agreed standards, ensuring that deadlines and targets are achieved Maximise the profitability of the contract and manage costs effectively Serve as the main point of contact between the client and the account director Ensure all operations are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard Proactively manage operational risk and support continuous risk mitigation Promote and maintain a positive health and safety culture across the workplace Deliver services in line with company policies, legal requirements, and client expectations Contribute to innovation, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives within FM delivery Support the evolution of services to meet changing business needs and future workplace expectations Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders and workplace users Lead with confidence and drive operational excellence across service delivery Create a positive and visible impact on the daily workplace experience for employees and visitors
What we wish for:
Proven experience in Facility Management, Site Management, Workplace Services, or a similar operational leadership role Bachelors degree in service management or another relevant field A strong understanding of service delivery, stakeholder management, supplier coordination and performance management Good financial understanding, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting and support for business cases Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment with both internal and external partners Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance, and workplace technology, with the ability to coordinate service providers and support maintenance decisions Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and risk management, ensuring compliance and promoting a proactive safety culture The ability to lead teams, build collaboration and drive operational excellence in a changing environment Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to engage effectively with local users and senior stakeholders Client savvy with a passion for service and client experience Manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities in a high paced working environment Ability to interpret and utilise financial and commercial information Excellent IT skills Fluency in English and Finnish is essential in this role (both written and spoken), other languages are considered as an advantage.
