Senior System Specialist / Microsoft 365, Active Directory & Entra ID

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Specialist to join our Modern Workplace and Device Management team. In this role, your expertise can be focused on either Microsoft 365 or Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, depending on your background and strengths. You do not need to be an expert in all these areas. We are looking for a senior professional with strong expertise in at least one of these domains and an interest in developing and securing our broader Microsoft workplace environment. You will have an opportunity to take technical ownership, influence our technology choices, and develop solutions used across a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will be shaped around your expertise, with a primary focus on either Microsoft 365 or Active Directory and Entra ID.

Microsoft 365 You will develop, administer, and secure our Microsoft 365 environment and take technical ownership of selected M365 services. You will contribute to their architecture, lifecycle, development, and continuous improvement while ensuring that the environment remains secure, reliable, and well integrated with our identity and workplace services.

Active Directory & Entra ID You will develop and take technical ownership of our Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments, including their architecture, security, lifecycle, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities may include areas such as Group Policy, hybrid identity, authentication, Conditional Access, MFA, and directory services.

Automation & Collaboration Regardless of your main area of expertise, you will develop technical solutions and PowerShell-based automation, define technical standards and best practices, and collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, cloud, application, and endpoint management teams. Microsoft Intune and device management are supporting areas rather than the primary focus of the role.

What We Expect from You:

· Strong senior-level experience in Microsoft 365 and/or Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID · Deep technical expertise in at least one of these areas and a good understanding of the broader Microsoft ecosystem · Experience in designing, developing, administering, and securing enterprise Microsoft environments · Good understanding of identity, authentication, security, and modern security principles such as Zero Trust and least privilege · Experience with PowerShell and automation · Ability to take technical ownership and translate business and security requirements into sustainable technical solutions · Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach · Good collaboration and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different technical teams and stakeholders · Willingness to continuously develop your skills and learn new technologies · Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Finnish and English considered an Advantage · Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management · Experience working with hybrid Microsoft environments · Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) · Other relevant certifications related to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure, or Microsoft Security
