Web Developer - Try & Hire

For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for a Web Developer - Try & Hire contract.

📋Description

Challenging web development for the netbank. Primarily the work will be on the common UI components and core libraries that the team provides to the rest of the web developer community. We are looking for a highly talented, but not necessarily very experienced, web developer to help with challenging web development. The try-before-you-buy approach is preferred, allowing the consultant to become a full-time employee after half a year if all goes well.

Must-have knowledge and experience:

• Good web stack knowledge: TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Web Components.
• In-depth understanding of some web framework like React or Angular.

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience:

• Familiarity with mobile development is a big plus, as web technology is also used inside the mobile app.
• Accessibility is an important topic to know as well, but that can be learned fairly quickly on the job.

• Do you have hands-on experience developing web applications using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS?*
• Have you worked with Web Components in a professional, academic, or personal project?*
• Do you have strong practical experience with at least one modern frontend framework, such as React or Angular?*
• Have you worked with accessibility (WCAG, semantic HTML, screen readers) or mobile development before?*
• Are you interested in a consultant-to-permanent hire (Try & Hire) arrangement after approx. 6 months?*
