Hotel Manager

We are looking for a HOTEL MANAGER TO KAAMOS LODGE IN AAVASAKSA, FINLAND

Kaamos Lodge is a new year-round resort located on the summit of Aavasaksa, one of Finlands nationally designated heritage landscape. The resort features 80 modern gámmes with private saunas, a panoramic restaurant, and a Landscape Spa surrounded by pristine Lapland nature.

We are looking for a visionary and people-oriented Hotel Manager to take overall responsibility for our hotels operations, guest experience and financial success. This role is ideal for someone who wants to combine strategic leadership with a genuine hands on approach in the daily life of the hotel.

JOB DESCRIPTION As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the hotels daily operations as well as its strategic development. Your responsibili ties will include, among others: Leading and developing the hotels operational activities , Managing staff, including recruitment and leadership responsibilities. Participating in practical, hands-on operational tasks when needed. Ensuring excellent and memorable guest experiences, Financial planning, budgeting and reporting , Supporting sales and marketing activities in cooperation with other teams , Maintaining and developing partner relationships , Overseeing quality assurance and safety systems

We expect you to have: Education in the hotel industry or service/business management, Experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the service industry , Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, Willingness and ability to work in operational roles when required , Ability to develop and manage profitable business operations , A customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality service , Good stress tolerance and strong organizational skills , Fluent Finnish and English skills; additional languages are considered an asset , Alcohol Serving Licence (Finland) required, Drivers Licence
