Logistics Worker – Data Centre Project, Mikkeli

Job description

Mono Rakennus Oy is looking for motivated Logistics Workers to join our team on a large-scale data centre construction project in Mikkeli, Finland.

As a Logistics Worker, you will be part of the site logistics team and support the daily movement, handling and organization of materials throughout the construction site. You will work under the coordination of our Logistics Coordinator and in cooperation with the client, subcontractors and other site personnel.

Your main duties will include:

• Receiving and handling incoming materials and deliveries

• Loading, unloading and moving materials within the construction site

• Transporting materials between storage areas and designated work areas

• Organising and maintaining storage and logistics areas

• Assisting telehandler operators during loading and unloading operations

• Supporting different subcontractors with material movements

• Keeping access routes, loading areas and logistics zones clear and organised

• Assisting with waste handling and movement of waste containers when required

• Following the instructions of the Logistics Coordinator and site management

• Ensuring safe working practices and compliance with site safety requirements

• Supporting other daily site logistics activities as required

We are looking for

Previous experience in construction, logistics, warehouse operations or material handling is an advantage, but the most important qualities are a good attitude, reliability and willingness to work as part of a team.

The position requires:

• Ability to perform physical work

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

• Responsible and reliable working attitude

• Valid Occupational Safety Card (Työturvallisuuskortti), or willingness to obtain one before starting

• Sufficient English language skills for working safely on an international construction site

Finnish language skills and previous experience from data centre or large construction projects are considered an advantage.
