Exciting Opportunity in Greenland
We are currently looking for an experienced and independent Boat Mechanic to join our team in Ilulissat, Greenland. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who is seeking unique career experience in one of the world's most spectacular locations.
The position can be offered as either a project-based assignment or a permanent full-time role, depending on your availability and preferences.
Job Responsibilities
As a Boat Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Service, maintenance, and repair of marine engines.
- Troubleshooting and repairing both inboard and outboard engines.
- Visiting various boats and customers on-site to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Planning and managing your own daily schedule and work assignments.
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are qualified Boat Mechanics, Marine Mechanics, or have a relevant technical background such as a Welder/Fabricator with marine engine experience.
- Have solid experience with servicing and repairing marine engines.
- Can work independently and take responsibility for planning their own workday.
- Speak English or one of the Nordic languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic, or Faroese).
- Are motivated to relocate to Greenland and work in an international environment.
