Kuvaus
We arean Italian restaurant located in Helsinki. We are currently seeking a Shift Manager to support the daily operations of the restaurant and to ensure smooth service during assigned shifts.
The Shift Manager plays a key operational role, overseeing front of house activities, coordinating staff during service, and acting as a communication link between the restaurant team and the owners.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and supervising daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts
- Leading and coordinating front of house staff to ensure high service standards
- Assisting with shift planning and ensuring adequate staffing during service hours
- Supporting staff during service and resolving operational issues as they arise
- Communicating operational matters, staffing issues, and daily performance to management/owners
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and service quality standards
- Assisting with general restaurant operations as needed
Language and communication requirements (essential):
Fluent Georgian language skills are required for this position. Some of the senior management of the restaurant are Georgian, and Georgian is used as the primary operational language for management communication. Effective, real time communication with the owners regarding daily operations, staffing, and service related matters is essential for the proper functioning of the restaurant.
Other requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory, shift manager, or senior waiter role
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility during shifts
- Good customer service skills and a professional working attitude
- Availability for fulltime work
