The Opportunity
We are looking for a commercially driven and technically credible Sales Manager to strengthen our EMEA Sales Team. This role is responsible for managing and expanding Robits customer base across assigned EMEA territories.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager drives profitable growth across assigned EMEA territories by combining strong distributor account management, new business development, and deep technical expertise in rock drilling tools and all drilling applications. The role requires strong collaboration and influence across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing key distributor accounts, growing share of wallet through structured customer engagement
- Identify, prospect, and secure new end-user customers, projects, tenders, and regional opportunities together with the distribution channels
- Prepare accurate quotations, costings, margins, and sales forecasts with strong commercial discipline
- Act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor to customers at all organisational levels
- Collaborate closely with product management, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and the wider EMEA Sales Team
- Provide structured market intelligence to support strategic growth and product development
- Represent Robit professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
You are accountable for meeting agreed sales budgets, maintaining healthy receivables, and ensuring compliance with Robit's policies, quality standards, HSE, and regulatory requirements.
What We Expect From You
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales, business development, or product support within mining, quarrying, or drilling
- Technical depth: Strong expertise in rock tools and drilling applications — this is essential
- International scope: Proven ability to manage distributors across multiple countries or regions
- Commercial acumen: Solid understanding of market pricing, margins, and contract terms
- Mindset: Growth-driven and entrepreneurial — comfortable working autonomously across large geographies
- Communication: Confident influencing both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Execution: Structured, disciplined sales approach with strong CRM and reporting capability
- Education: Diploma or degree in sales, engineering, business, or equivalent experience
- Languages: Professional English required; Finnish, Spanish, French, German, Turkish are an advantage
- Willingness and ability to travel: This role requires extensive international travel across assigned EMEA territories, approximately 80–100 days annually, depending on business needs.
