About the JobWe are searching for an accomplished and innovative Resort Manager to lead our multi-departmental team at Northern Lights Village Pyhä. As the driving force behind the resorts overall success, you will oversee the Experiences, Restaurant, Front Office, and Housekeeping teams, ensuring every part of the guest experience meets our high standards. You will work collaboratively with the department Supervisors, inspire staff across the resort, and maintain our standards of warm, personalised service.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee all daily operations and departmental functions (Experiences, Restaurant, Front Office, Housekeeping) to maintain smooth coordination and a seamless guest experienceImplement standard operating procedures to uphold brand standards and regulatory requirementsTeam Management & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and support Supervisors and the various teams, fostering a cohesive working environment and encouraging professional growthConduct regular meetings with department Supervisors to establish priorities, review performance, and address challengesGuest Experience & Quality ControlAct as a key point of contact for escalated guest concerns, ensuring professional resolution and the highest levels of satisfactionContinuously evaluate service quality in all areas and implement improvements in collaboration with SupervisorsFinancial & Resource ManagementTrack expenses and oversee cost management while maintaining service excellenceCollaborate with department Supervisors to forecast staffing needs, manage schedules, and optimise labour costsHealth, Safety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as company policies, across all departmentsMaintain a safe, secure work environment for both guests and staff, encouraging a culture of responsibility and awarenessStrategic Planning & CollaborationWork closely with senior management to establish short- and long-term goals for the resortLiaise with the Sales team to ensure that all promises made to guests are fulfilled, aligning guest expectations with the actual service deliveryRequirementsProven leadership experience in a hospitality management role, overseeing multiple departments or functionsStrong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for motivating diverse teamsExcellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills, with a natural ability to build trust and navigate sensitive situationsDemonstrated financial acumen, including budgeting and cost controlFluent written and spoken English and FinnishAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment and adapt to changing demandsRobust knowledge of hospitality software, preferably including Mews & FareHarborBachelors degree in hospitality management or business administrationWhat We OfferCompetitive Salary – Negotiated based on experience and qualifications (The salary range will be provided before the interview stage.)Professional Development – Opportunities for training, growth, and career advancementPositive Work Environment – Join an international team that prides itself on delivering warm, personalised serviceEmployee Benefits – Discounts across our properties and facilities, as well as a comprehensive healthcare packagePay, Duration & BenefitsStarts: August/September, Ends: AprilFull timeMonthly salaryOther benefits according to the collective labour agreementHow to ApplyBefore applying, please ensure you have the right to work in Finland.We will begin reviewing applications during June, and you will receive a reply by early August at the latest.If you are ready to take on a dynamic leadership role in Finnish Lapland and guide our teams toward delivering unforgettable guest experiences, we invite you to apply and become a pivotal part of the Northern Lights Village journey.
