About the role
You will lead the General Ledger and Asset Accounting teams, ensuring efficient daily operations and timely period-end closings. This role is pivotal in harmonizing regional processes and successfully navigating a major ERP implementation.

Work tasks
As the operational lead, you will balance team management with high-level process development and system implementation tasks to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate General Ledger and Asset Accounting teams globally.
- Oversee, maintain, and develop GL and Asset Accounting processes and documentation.
- Ensure period-end closing tasks are completed accurately according to global schedules.
- Participate in the D365 ERP implementation, including data migration and configuration.
- Manage work distribution, holiday planning, and substitutions within the teams.
- Drive digitalization and automation initiatives across the process cycle.
- Support the finance organization with change management and problem-solving.
We are looking for
- Around 5 years of proven experience within General Ledger and Asset Accounting
- Practical experience with ERP systems and system development
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Professional proficiency in English
- Strong skills in resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records
It is meritorious if you have
- A proven track record of leading senior accountants or finance specialists is a major plus.
- Knowledge of Finnish
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
