AILiveSim provides an advanced simulation platform that integrates AI, robotics, and video game technology. Located in Helsinki, we serve a variety of industries, including maritime, defence, aeronautics, and mobile machines. With controlled simulations, we accelerate the development cycles and provide scalable solutions for training, testing, and validating autonomous systems and AI algorithms.

To support our growing user base and ensure our platform is as accessible as possible, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into clear and easy-to-understand documentation. This is an opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge AI, robotics, and simulation technology while shaping how our clients and developers interact with our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Documentation Creation: Write, edit, and maintain high-quality product, technical documentation, including user manuals, tutorials, and both customer- and AI-facing documentation resources.

• Knowledge Delivery Processes: Define and develop various ways to convey information, documentation, example scripts, tutorials and configuration files manually or with AI code assistants.

• Content Organization: Structure and organize technical content to ensure it is highly searchable, intuitive, and user-friendly for both internal teams and external clients.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product specialists, and the sales team to deeply understand new platform features, updates, and user needs.

• Standardization & Review: Establish documentation standards and review existing technical materials for clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all company channels.

• User-Centric & Adaptive Approach: Gather feedback from users and internal teams to continuously improve the usability and comprehensiveness of our documentation, evolving content based on user profiles and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Technical Writing Experience: Track record in writing software or technical documentation.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English skills, with a talent for breaking down complex, highly technical concepts into simple, readable language.

• Technical Abilities: Comfort and enthusiasm for learning complex software systems, with the ability to quickly grasp concepts related to 3D simulation tools, robotics, and AI.

Valuable Assets

• Experience reading or working with programming languages (such as C++ or Python) and documenting APIs.

• Interest or background in AI, robotics, 3D graphics, game technologies (e.g., Unreal Engine), or autonomous systems.

• Experience creating visual aids, diagrams to supplement written documentation.

• Experience creating AI readable documentation, such as instruction files, schemas, Model Context Protocols
