Nordic Unique Travels is one of the main travel companies located in Rovaniemi,
Finland. We specialize in tours in Lapland - in Finland, North Norway, and Sweden. At
the moment we have more than 100 tours and holiday packages in the Arctic Circle.
Lapland is a great winter destination oering unforgettable experiences. Because of its
nature, northern lights, winter activities, unique cuisine and accommodation and of
course Santa Claus, it is very popular among customers from all around the world.
We are looking for French Pastry Chef to join our team in Aito Igloo & Spa Resort.

\- Duration of the Agreement: We are looking for potential candidates to start from
September with a seasonal contract, with the possibility of extending the contract.
\- Part-time position / Full time position
\*Requirements:
\- Proven experience as French Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role;
\- Willingness to replenish professional knowledge;
\- In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques
and nutrition;
\- Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free,
sugarless etc.);
\- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field;
\-Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed.
\*Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
\- Preparing a wide variety of goods such as French cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc.
following traditional and modern recipes;
\- Creating new and exciting French desserts to renew our menus and engage the
interest of customers;
\- Decorating French pastries using dierent icings, toppings etc. to ensure the
presentation will be beautiful and exciting;
\-The ability to work in a team;
\-The ability to stand for extended periods of time;
\-Eective communication skills in French and in English
\- Serve the desserts to guests and explain the ingredients and menu in French and
English.
