IS Technical Program Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Within our Motion Drive Products (MODP) division, we are looking for an IS Technical Program Manager to oversee complex, global digital transformation programs that shape how our supply chain and warehouse operations work across the world. This is a role for a practiced program manager who understands technology deeply enough to lead it and knows how to turn strategy into delivery.

In this role, you will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of global digital programs, with an initial focus on Warehouse and Transportation Management enabled by SAP EWM and SAP TM in MODP and other applicable Motion divisions. This is a strategic, mission-critical role where you translate business priorities into scalable digital solutions. You will not be designing solutions yourself, but you will be the person who ensures the right solutions get built, governed, and delivered at scale.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Driving end-to-end program delivery. Owning integrated delivery plans across sites, regions, and releases, managing scope, risks, dependencies, budget, and outcomes from initiation to stabilization

• Acting as the single delivery integrator. Keeping business, IS teams, and external partners aligned and accountable throughout the program lifecycle

• Translating strategy into action. Converting operations and supply chain priorities into executable digital programs, roadmaps, and deployment models

• Governing technical direction without designing solutions. Working closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, and product owners to ensure designs are sound, future-proof, and aligned with approved architectures

• Ensuring end-to-end digital supply chain integration. Spanning SAP EWM, SAP TM, SAP ECC/S4HANA, manufacturing systems, and automation platforms

• Leading vendors and partners. Managing system integrators and technology partners, ensuring delivery quality, contractual compliance, and adherence to ABB ways of working

• Driving standardization and continuous improvement through global templates, reference architectures, and reusable deployment models

• Interfacing globally with factories, supply chain leadership, regional IS teams, and division stakeholders globally

✅Qualifications for the role

• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, global digital transformation programs in complex, multi-site organizations

• Solid command of program governance: structured planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and transparent stakeholder reporting

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, keeping delivery on track without losing sight of the bigger picture

• Experienced in managing external vendors and system integrators — holding them accountable while keeping collaboration productive

• Skilled at facilitating decision-making across diverse business, IS, and leadership stakeholders

• A solid understanding of SAP EWM and/or SAP TM in enterprise environments. SAP certification will be beneficial

• Ability to engage credibly with architects and technical teams: review designs, validate assumptions, and assess integration

• Comfortable with solution architecture thinking: you understand what good looks like, what is scalable, and what is not

• Familiarity with end-to-end digital supply chain landscapes, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements

• You communicate complex matters clearly

• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Master's or Business degree in Engineering, Masters degree in business management
