Keep your days free - become an early morning deliverer!
Are you looking for a job that leaves your days free for studies, hobbies, family life, or other commitments? Lounais-Suomen Tietojakelu regularly offers delivery work in Turku and the surrounding municipalities. The job is an excellent fit for students, early risers, and anyone looking for additional income.
Please note that we do not always have an open delivery route available immediately in every area. We continuously interview candidates and maintain a recruitment pool for different locations. This allows us to quickly contact suitable applicants when a route becomes available near their home.
We invite applicants to interviews based on their place of residence and anticipated recruitment needs in different areas. Bicycle delivery routes are typically offered within approximately 5 kilometres of the applicant's home address.
What is the job like?
As a deliverer, you will work approximately 3-5 hours per night, typically between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The work consists of delivering newspapers, magazines, and addressed mail along a pre-defined route. The standard shift pattern is six consecutive working nights followed by two nights off, providing a predictable work rhythm and helping you plan your free time.
Delivery routes and equipment
- In Turku, deliveries are primarily carried out using a bicycle provided by the employer.
- Outside Turku, routes are completed using either your own car or a company vehicle.
- When a route requires the use of your own car, mileage compensation is paid according to the applicable rate.
Pay and training
- Pay is based on the collective agreement between the Finnish Media Federation and the Industrial Union.
- The average earnings for a new deliverer, including applicable supplements, are approximately €12-13 per hour.
- You will receive paid onboarding, including daytime training and practical guidance on your own route during night shifts.
- In addition, we pay a €900 orientation bonus during the first nine months of employment.
