Production Technician - ICEYE, Espoo

We are looking for Production Technician to join our client, ICEYE, in

Otaniemi, Espoo. The position is for a full-time role. The employment contract will be signed with Barona

Teollisuus Oy, and t he work will begin as soon as possible according to agreement.

As a Production Technician, you will manufacture, assemble, and integrate thermal insulation components for demanding high-performance hardware, ensuring accurate, safe, and consistent build quality according to defined procedures and standards. You will work closely with engineering and production teams, follow instructions precisely, report issues clearly, and contribute to a safe, well-organized, and efficient production environment.

Your primary focus will be on the manufacturing and integration of multilayer insulation (MLI) and insulation blankets. This includes cutting, preparing, fitting, and assembling insulation components, as well as supporting fit-check and integration activities together with engineering teams.

In addition, you will support basic electrical assembly tasks when needed, such as building simple cable harnesses, performing continuity checks and verification, and assisting with potting and basic rework tasks.

What we are looking for

We are seeking candidates with experience in precision assembly, technical production, or similar hands-on roles. A vocational or technical background is considered beneficial but not mandatory.

The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity and is comfortable working with detailed, precision hardware. You should be able to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions accurately and consistently.

Experience working with thermal insulation materials, composites, aerospace hardware, electronics, or similar industries is considered an advantage. Basic understanding of electrical assembly or harness work is beneficial.

What we offer

Please note that the role requires a clean background, and selected candidates will undergo a security clearance.

The contract is for a full-time role (37,5h/week) and the working hours are from 9 to 17. At first we will offer a fixed-term contract for six months.
