Kuvaus
Aurora Reel Accelerator is a cross-border collaboration project funded by Interreg Aurora. The project aims to strengthen the capacity and competitiveness of the film and creative industries in the Aurora region by introducing and developing Virtual Production (VP) infrastructure, skills, and collaboration models.
Responsibilities include
- Leading and coordinating the project from Novia UAS's side as lead partner, including planning, implementation, and reporting
- Organising and coordinating project activities such as Reel Jam events, workshops, and training initiatives
- Jointly developing and implementing project activities in cross-border collaboration with the project partner in Sweden
- Building networks and creating meeting places for film and creative industry professionals in the region
- Contributing to the development of Virtual Production-related workflows and competence-building activities
- Communicating project activities and results to different target groups
- Collaborating with film professionals, educational institutions, and other stakeholders in the Interreg Aurora programme area
- Contributing to project planning, follow-up, and documentation
- Representing the project in national and international contexts
We are looking for someone who has
- A relevant higher education degree or equivalent experience
- Experience from, or a good understanding of, the audiovisual sector (film, TV, games, or related fields)
- A practical understanding of technical production environments that combine hardware and software
- An interest in or understanding of Virtual Production and emerging production methods
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and experience working with different stakeholders
- Previous experience in EU-funded projects and/or international collaboration is considered an asset
- Proficiency in English; Swedish and Finnish are an advantage
Employment
for the period 1.6.2026-31.12.2028 or as agreed
The position is primarily 80% of full-time working hours, but other part-time employment can also be discussed.
Salary according to General collective agreement for Universities of Applied Sciences and internal directives. The position includes a probationary period of six months.
Location
Jakobstad or as agreed. We offer flexible working arrangements.
