Sales Engineer
Pemamek is a global leader in designing and manufacturing advanced welding automation solutions. We serve world-class customers in maritime, energy, and heavy fabrication industries. As we continue our strong growth journey, we are strengthening our Sales Team.
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to strengthen Pemameks sales support team. You will play a key role in supporting sales projects and collaborating closely with our sales organization. We are looking for someone who has a technical education and experience in industrial sales support functions. We are offering a front-row position in project business and opportunity to advance your career into responsible sales roles.
Your role
As a Sales Engineer, your responsibilities include participating in customer and sales meetings together with the sales team. You also support sales activities and manage sales quotation process, documentations and reporting. In your role you'll report to Pemamek's Director of International Sales & Marketing. You have the potential to grow and the desire to eventually advance to the role of Area Sales Manager. You will be part of the regional sales team, supported by the application, segment, and marketing teams. The global team consists of approximately 35 people in total, with about 20 based in Finland.
What youll do
- Participate in customer and sales meetings together with the sales team
- Support day-to-day sales activities
- Managing sales quotations process from preparation to follow up
- Handle sales related documentations
- Prepare and maintain reports on sales activities and processes
- Work independently
What you bring
- A suitable technical or commercial education, preferably at Bachelors level or higher
- Willingness to travel and work in an international environment
- Customer orientation and good negotiation skills
- Fluent English,proficiency in Finnish is an advantage
- Sales experience in capital assets or welding automation is considered an advantage
- The ability to manage sales projects independently from start to finish (with team support)
