Technician Energy Networks

TECLINE is a well-known job agency in the Netherlands, specialized in employing technicians. For one of our Dutch clients we are looking for a Lead Technician Energy Networks , with the prospect of a permanent contract. In this role, you work across the full regional energy grid, carrying out installation, replacement, cable works, maintenance, inspections, and switching operations. You work in teams at various locations, ensuring safe, structured, and high-quality execution in line with VIAG/BEI safety procedures. You communicate professionally with colleagues, subcontractors, and clients. This is a hands-on role in a safety-critical environment, with opportunities to grow toward high-voltage specializations or office-based positions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform installation, replacement, and maintenance work on LS and MS installations Execute cable works (including joints, connections, and splicing) for LS and MS Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of switchgear installations Handle fault repairs and planned/unplanned maintenance activities Work in accordance with VIAG, BEI, and permit-to-work procedures Collaborate with project leaders, planners, and colleagues on safe execution Document activities and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems Coach colleagues when needed.REQUIREMENTS Experience or strong interest in LS/MS installations, cable technology, or grid operations Preferably NEN3140, VIAG/BEI, VCA, or willingness to obtain certificates Strong focus on safety, quality, and structured working. Ability to work both independently and in teams Educated and qualified as an electrician.
