We are looking for a Team Leader for a permanent position in home-based services in Oulu.
What does the Team Leader's jobinvolve? In your role as Team Leader, you will organize the activities of your team of nurses and act as a professional expert in nursing care. You will work both at the client's home providing nursing care and in the office a few days a week performing administrative tasks (planning tasks). Thereisan average of two office shifts per week, some of which can be done remotely according to our hybrid model. You will be a close working partner with the team supervisor in leading the team. You will receive comprehensive training in all systems and areasrequiredfor your work.
WhatdoesworkinDisabilityServices CareTeamsinvolve? Mehiläinen's disability services provide 24/7 home care for clients. When working in care teams, you get to focus on providing high-quality care to one client. Work in care teams includes traditional nursing, medication administration, as well as monitoring and guidance. A rehabilitative approach is emphasized in client work, and work is done in good cooperation with the client and their family. Nursing care is three-shift work, but you can flexibly influence your shifts. In care teams, work takes place at client locations in the Oulu region, within the North Ostrobothnia area.
Your job description includes, both independently and as a working partner with the team supervisor: Nursing care at the client's home.
Planning and implementation of your team's nursing shifts and change management.
Assistingin recruitments and ensuring team resourcing.
Planning and implementation of onboardings.
Organizing team activities.
Client and network collaboration.
Salaryis based on education and years of experience, according to the collective agreement for the private social services sector: For practical nurses, according to salary class G22: 2660.27 € - 2985.40 € /month. For registered nurses, according to salary class G24: 2923.92 € - 3190.35 € /month.

We expect from you: A degree as a practical nurse or registered nurse. For practical nurses, we alsorequirestudies in the field of nursing and care. To succeed in this job, you must have good Finnish language skills. We appreciate valid LOVE permits, but you can also complete them through us if necessary.English language skills arerequiredfor client work, but nursing documentation must be done in Finnish.Although your work in care teams is independent, you will be supported by colleagues, a team leader, and team supervisor Joanna. The task requires a tuberculosis examinationin accordance withSection 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act for everyone who meets THL's risk criteria.
