Sunshine Early Learning Centre has opened a new early education unit in Hervantajärvi in August 2026, and is looking for an enthousiastic ECEC Teacher to join our international team from September 2026 onwards.

Our new centre operates in a log-structured, sensory-friendly building designed specifically to support high quality early childhood education. Surrounded by nature, the environment offers exceptional opportunities for outdoor pedagogy, creativity and childrens holistic development.
We are looking for an ECEC professional who genuinely enjoys working with children and families, values teamwork and contributes to a positive, safe working atmosphere and is ambitious in developing a high quality pedagogical learning environment.

As an ECEC Teacher and team leader you will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the pedagogical program, supporting childrens growth, learning, and well being and leading your team in daily pedagogical work. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team, fellow teachers and the Daycare Manager.
Our working languages are Finnish and English, so strong skills in both languages are essential for this position. Familiarity with the National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care is highly important.
Qualification Requirements: The position requires an ECEC Teacher qualification in Early Childhood Education in accordance with the Finnish Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). If your degree is from outside Finland, it must be officially recognised by the Finnish National Agency for Education (Opetushallitus).
