Shipyard Welder

Location: Rauma or Helsinki, Finland

Employment: Long-term

Join major shipbuilding projects involving naval vessels and icebreakers.

Your duties

• MIG/MAG (135/136) and MMA welding

• Hull and module construction

• Welding in vertical and overhead positions

• Visual inspection and quality control

Requirements

• Previous shipyard, offshore or heavy steel construction experience

• EN ISO 9606-1 welding qualification

• Ability to work in demanding welding positions

• Good English communication skills

Salary and employment terms

Employment generally follows the Technology Industry Collective Agreement. Typical monthly earnings range from€3,000/month, with additional compensation available through shift work, overtime and project-related allowances.
