Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join an ongoing project for our client. The assignment starts immediately and will run until the end of the year. The employment contract will be established with Poolia IT. The role is based in Helsinki, but remote work is possible. Fluent Finnish is required. - Location: Helsinki (Remote work possible) - Employment: Contract via Poolia IT - Start: ASAP - Duration: Until the end of the year Frontend Engineering You will work on modern UI development using contemporary frameworks and tools. The role requires strong experience with technologies such as Vue and TypeScript, as well as a solid understanding of responsive design and secure frontend implementations. Backend Engineering You will be responsible for designing and implementing APIs with a focus on performance, logging, and profiling. The role includes writing unit, integration, and performance tests and working with containerized services. The ideal candidate has experience with Python or Go and is familiar with commonly used Python libraries such as FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, lxml, pytest, and Locust, or equivalent libraries in Go. Experience with Docker is required. Database Engineering The role includes optimising PostgreSQL schemas for efficient search through indexing and materialized views. You will also work on ingestion pipelines and design incremental refresh mechanisms to support reliable data processing. DevOps & Observability You have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or GitLab, and deploying containerized applications to Kubernetes environments using Helm. Writing clear deployment documentation and operational runbooks is also part of the role. Interested?
