The role is based within warehouse operations, where you will support production through various warehouse tasks, including replenishment and internal logistics activities. The position requires initiative, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with different teams. We are looking for someone with a responsible attitude and a willingness to continuously develop their skills.

The role also includes the daily use of computers and warehouse management systems.

We expect you to have:

• Approximately two years of experience in warehouse work and experience operating forklifts
• Good English skills, as onboarding is conducted in English and the working environment is international
• Ability to use a computer as part of daily work tasks
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Readiness for physical work
• At least 18 years of age

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems
• A valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one

Working hours are 29 hours per week and consist of one weekday shift, a 10-hour shift on Saturdays (between 06:00 and 17:00), and an 11-hour shift on Sundays (06:00-17:00). The work schedule is regular and predictable. Although the weekly working time is 29 hours, the position offers a salary equivalent to that of a full-time role.

Please note that selected candidates will complete an initial training and onboarding period during their first month of employment. During this period, employees will work regular weekday morning shifts. After successful completion of the training phase, employees will transition to the weekend shift model described in this advertisement.

The employment contract will be signed with Barona Logistics and will initially continue until the end of the year. Employees who perform well may have the opportunity to continue beyond the fixed-term contract. The salary is based on the collective agreement for technology industry.

The position requires successful completion of a security clearance. Finnish citizenship and Finnish language skills are not required; however, applicants must have continuously resided in Finland for at least five years to be eligible for the security clearance process.

Työaika on 29 tuntia viikossa ja koostuu yhdestä arkipäivän työvuorosta sekä 10 tunnin työvuorosta lauantaisin (klo 6-17 välisenä aikana) ja 11 tunnin työvuorosta sunnuntaisin (klo 6-17). Työvuorot ovat säännöllisiä ja ennakoitavia. Vaikka työaika on 29 tuntia viikossa, tehtävästä maksetaan kokoaikatyötä vastaava palkka. Työsopimus solmitaan Barona Logistiikan kanssa vuoden loppuun saakka, mutta hyvin työssä pärjäävällä voi olla mahdollisuus jatkaa senkin jälkeen.

Huomioithan, että valitut työntekijät osallistuvat ensimmäisen työkuukautensa aikana perehdytys- ja koulutusjaksoon. Tämän ajanjakson aikana työvuorot tehdään normaalissa arkiaamuvuorossa. Perehdytysjakson onnistuneen suorittamisen jälkeen työntekijät siirtyvät tässä ilmoituksessa kuvattuun viikonlopputyövuoromalliin.

Tehtävä edellyttää turvallisuusselvityksen läpäisemistä. Suomen kansalaisuutta tai suomen kielen taitoa ei vaadita, mutta hakijan tulee olla asunut Suomessa yhtäjaksoisesti vähintään viiden vuoden ajan turvallisuusselvityksen mahdollistamiseksi.
