Would you be our new Warranty Project Engineer?
As a Warranty Project Engineer, you will become a part of an international team responsible for handling warranty-related matters for Konecranes' port crane projects. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure warranty cases are processed efficiently and resolved professionally.
In this role, your daily work revolves around managing customer claims in SAP, creating supplier claims, coordinating spare part deliveries and ensuring that warranty-related costs are validated correctly. You will communicate regularly with customers, suppliers, engineering teams, logistics specialists and service organizations across different countries and time zones.
A typical day may start with reviewing incoming warranty cases and customer requests. You will gather missing information, coordinate actions with suppliers, arrange logistics for replacement parts and verify invoices and costs related to warranty activities. You will also monitor performance indicators and help ensure claims are closed within agreed timelines. The team supports several international projects, particularly in the United States, while also collaborating with customers and stakeholders in countries such as the Netherlands and Spain.
The position is based in Hyvinkää and follows a hybrid working model, with one to two regular office day per week and the possibility to work remotely on the remaining days. This is a full-time and permanent position starting as soon as possible. The employment contract will be signed with Biisoni.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple tasks, communicating with different stakeholders and solving practical problems in a structured way. You may already have experience as a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator or in a project management role. Experience from working in customer-facing environments and collaborating across functions will help you succeed in this position.
To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in engineering. Previous experience with technical products, machinery, industrial projects or engineering documentation is considered highly valuable.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication skills in English, as all customer communication is conducted in English. Experience with SAP is considered an advantage, although the specific processes and transactions will be taught during onboarding. You should also be comfortable working with technical documentation and have a general understanding of how large industrial equipment and systems operate.
As a person, you are proactive, organized and solution-oriented. You are not satisfied with the first answer if something seems unclear, but instead actively investigate issues and seek the best possible solution. You communicate professionally, collaborate effectively with others and feel comfortable working in a multicultural environment where teamwork plays an important role.
Why us?
This role offers an excellent opportunity to join one of the world's leading industrial technology companies and gain exposure to global projects and international stakeholders.
You will become part of a diverse team consisting of professionals from several nationalities, where English is the everyday working language. The team culture is collaborative, supportive and low hierarchy. Questions are encouraged, knowledge is shared openly and colleagues help each other succeed.
The position also provides a strong foundation for future career development within Konecranes. Many professionals have progressed from project-oriented roles into project management, delivery organizations and leadership positions. For an ambitious professional, this can be an excellent steppingstone toward a long-term international career.
