Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, multiple locations in Finland

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will work with the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy vehicles and equipment in a professional workshop environment.

Your Tasks

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on heavy vehicles and equipment

• Identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults

• Carry out scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance

• Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently

• Ensure all work is completed according to safety and quality standards

• Keep service records and documentation up to date

• Collaborate with colleagues and support a smooth workshop operation

• Maintain a clean and organized working environment

• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving in daily workshop tasks

• Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge of modern vehicle systems

We Expect From You

• Strong experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repairs

• Ability to work independently in a multi-brand environment (e.g. Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz)

• Good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

• Experience with diagnostics and workshop systems is considered a strong advantage

• Knowledge of air brake systems and axle components

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and repair instructions

• Team spirit, initiative, and a proactive working attitude

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Understanding of workplace safety standards and safe working practices

• Basic English communication skills; Finnish language skills are an advantage

• Valid driving license
