Metal ship hull fitter

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:

• Precise Cutting skills of MS and Alloy Steels using Oxy-Acetylene Cutter
• Understand and Interpret block fabrication / Hull Erection drawings. Should be capable for working independently with the drawings and work

instructions

• Be capable to align Steel structures / plates varying from thickness 4 mm to 35 mm
• Perform FCAW welding for Tack weld
• Knowledge of using power tools, Hydraulic jacks
• Understanding of safe working methods
• Able to use Plumb, levels and measurement devices
• Capable of working at heights and confined spaces
• Knowledge of remote operated Overhead cranes will be added advantage

Our expectations:

• At least 12 months of experience in ship fitting.
• Availability to move to another worksite if needed.
