Husky Farm Guide

We are looking for a responsible, reliable and enthusiastic person who enjoys working with animals and people and is comfortable working in an active outdoor environment.

• Good command of English, with clear, confident and friendly communication skills. You should be comfortable communicating with international guests and explaining activities and basic husky-related information in English.

• A valid driving licence recognised for use within the EU.

• Good physical fitness and stamina.

• A genuine interest in dogs and animal care. You should feel comfortable working in close contact with huskies on a daily basis and be attentive to their health, behaviour and wellbeing.

• A friendly and service-minded attitude, with the ability to welcome guests warmly, answer questions and help create a safe, enjoyable and memorable husky experience.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays and during busy tourist periods, according to the needs of the business.

• A responsible, reliable and safety-minded approach to work.

• Commitment to animal welfare and hygiene. You are expected to follow our procedures for dog care, kennel cleanliness, hygiene and safety at all times.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, take initiative and complete daily tasks responsibly.

• Additional language skills such as Spanish, German, French, Italian, Chinese or other languages are a distinct advantage.

• Previous experience with dogs, animal care, tourism, hospitality, guiding or outdoor activities is an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

• Willingness to perform other general duties related to the daily operation of the husky farm.
