Position Details
Position: Director F&B (Indian Concepts)
Contract Type: Full-time
Employment Duration: Permanent (until further notice)
Location: Helsinki, Finland
Start Date: 01.08.2026
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Director-level professional to lead the development, execution, and scaling of an Indian restaurant concept. The role includes full strategic, operational, and financial responsibility, including concept development, market adaptation, and future multi-unit expansion.
Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
The candidate must meet all of the following:
1. Minimum 15+ years of senior leadership experience in the F&B / restaurant industry
2. Proven experience managing large-scale multi-unit restaurant operations (20+ outlets)
3. Demonstrated ownership of large-scale P&L (multi-million annual turnover)
4. Proven track record in scaling restaurant brands or concepts across regions
5. Hands-on operational expertise across North, South, East, and West Indian cuisines
6. Proven experience in adapting Indian restaurant concepts to international markets, preferably Europe or comparable markets
7. Proven leadership in launching restaurant concepts from pre-opening to full operations
8. Experience working with central kitchen models and large-scale food production systems
9. Strong expertise in menu engineering, food cost optimization, and margin control
10. Proven ability to lead large teams (3050+ staff) across multiple functions
11. Experience in building and managing international supply chains for authentic Indian ingredients
12. Demonstrated ability to standardize and scale SOPs across multiple locations
13. Experience in franchise or multi-brand restaurant ecosystems
14. Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and regulatory compliance standards
15. Experience in branding and positioning premium dining concepts
16. Proven ability to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency
17. Experience in cross-functional leadership (operations, finance, and marketing)
18. Demonstrated success in turnaround and optimization of underperforming units
19. Proven ability to train and develop teams in authentic Indian culinary and service standards
20. Proven ability to localize Indian F&B concepts for Nordic/European markets
Working Requirements
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. Ability to operate in a high-performance, fast-paced environment. Willingness to relocate to Finland
Compensation
Monthly gross salary: 4,0004,500 €, plus performance-based bonuses, aligned with Finnish market standards for Director-level roles and the scope of responsibilities.
